Gawd I'm being totally 'out-healthied' here lol!
Never mind - I don't want to interfere with the life expectancy statistics for my area!
emo of the probably be dead before fifty class
what time is it in your area and what are you having for your morning, mid-day, or evening meal?.
i'm having grits, canned salmon, tuna, and chicken for breakfast.

2pm here now.
The weather is ok - windy, cloudy but mild temperature.
I overslept this morning so I've had no breakfast and only a light lunch - tin of tuna and some chips (fries!). I have no appetite at the moment so I just raid the cupboards as and when.
Crumpet - hope you're back to full strength soon, have you had the norovirus? The headache could be cos you're dehydrated - drink lottsa water!!
hello friends,.
many while jws, (myself included) were not aware that the organization teaches that jesus is the mediator for the 144,000 only!
i was so shocked to learn this, and i thought i would post this for all the newbies and lurkers.
I'm thinking of asking the JWs who bring my mags about this one as I've recently seen it raised on a site other than ones run by ex-JWs, so at least I can now approach the question without the need to fumble as to where I found the info!
Any suggestions as to exactly how to go about it will be gratefully accepted :-)
i'd say she'd make it real big with jim bakker.
and she'd likely be very welcomed into the amish community.
i remember all the single brothers were looking for girls that looked like her who were virgin elder's daughters.
Well she certainly looks together lol!
dear friends,.
much of what we do on a daily basis is routine and of no particular, earth-shaking importance.
however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.
Another busy day today - but at least I got more done! My weekend is Sunday/Monday - 2 days off yayyy!
Next weekend, I'll be starting 2 weeks of 'pantomime mode', I'm operating follow-spotlights again. We have a week of technical and dress rehearsals followed by a week of performances. This year it's Dick Whittington, one which I've never seen before so it'll be fun! The 'downside' is that I have to get my water intake up to 2-3 times more than I'd usually drink. During each 2 1/2 hour performance, I'll drink 3-4 litres of water (7-8 US pints!) because of the heat generated by the spotlight bulbs.
We saw bright sunshine here for the first time in several days. We've had rain and high winds, parts of the south of England got flooded yesterday. Now the biggest danger is that the temperatures are set to drop below freezing tonight which means when people go out tomorrow they won't know whether they're stepping onto a wet path or a sheet of ice. I hate it when it's icy :-(
Off to check what else is happening on JWD now.
Have a good weekend all!

Hi fellow journallers
Had one of those days at work today where you go nowhere fast! I had tons to do but got little done. I think my stock delivery arriving 4 hours later than normal just threw me for the day!
Nothing else to report really, I'm taking a couple of days out of heavy study before I begin my next essay - a 5000 word one, eek! This one is my own choice of topic though so I'll enjoy researching it - Colossians 1:15-20 - a major passage for JWs!! Must see if our own experts on JWD have any threads on it.
Finances are fairly tight for me too CoCo, it's not easy running your own business, I find the urgency to pay other invoices rather than myself great at times. I know the days of struggle will soon be over though :-)
Sad news about the JWs who lost their lives. Human compassion cuts across all the man-made divides which separate people
so my mom calls me at 2:00am to tell me..that the doomsday clock has been moved forward to two minutes before midnight!!
i guess she has heard that i have a problem with the jw doom and gloom predictions.
but come on ma, we were asleep.
You can call her back and tell her she's been misinformed - it's still 5 minutes to midnight. The official site where the time is here if anyone wants to keep an eye on it:
this is one of my favorite pieces.
it resonates.
abandoned, i thought of you today when i read this.
Another one in chapter 3 - I see I'm in good company though!!

Good morning all!! (well its just gone afternoon here!)
We have bad weather here today - cold, very wet and very windy. The shop isn't busy but I have lots of other things to do anyway (like posting here lol!).
I managed to trim my essay down to within the word limit, I just need to email it to the college now - I hope their internet is working as they are in the far north of Scotland and the weather has been really bad all week - lots of places without electricity.
That's all I have to report for now.
CoCo - those words by Dale Carnegie could hace been written by Ecclesiastes himself!!
Have a good day everyone, however much of it you have left!
there is quite large community of them in this area.
the more you get to know them or deal with them the less you like them.
what a strange and ugly culture.
The Roma people I've met are fine - very proud, clean living and often wealthy. The Roma still living in Eastern Europe are treated very much like the Jews were under Nazi Germany (Hitler actually hated them as much as the Jews and many died in the concentration camps). They are sometimes forced to live in 'ghetto' areas and denied basic facilities such as education, clean water and electricity.

There are other groups of travellers who aren't so great. In the UK, there are many Irish travellers and these are most often the ones associated with dodgy building work, charging extortionate prices for badly tarmaccing the drive and then blockading you until you pay up plus general dishonesty and untidiness. HOWEVER, even some of the Irish groups DO have high standards also and are making an honest living.
Then there are society's 'dropouts' who have been tagged into 'traveller' category but who are absolutely nothing to do with the culture...
